Great Northern Grain Elevator
AKA : Mutual Elevator / Pillsbury Elevator / Archer Daniels Midland (ADM)
Ganson Street, Buffalo, NY

Archer Daniels Midland, the owner of the Great Northern, also owns the adjoining mill (painted white) and has requested permission from the Buffalo Preservation Board to demolish the Great Northern. The Board has set conditions for the approval. So far, ADM has not not agreed to the conditions.

The brick exterior is only a shell -- the bins are steel!
